Knowing that you all have mailed in those checks (me included), I thought I'd pass Dave's latest request. Only negatives need reply. I'll let you know how the vore turns out.
Have a great day!

Thanks for your heartfelt efforts to coordinate a Class of 81 donation in memory of Connor. It really means a lot to us (and Connor too). And Kurt, please pass this on to Mary Ellen with a big hug and a thanks too.
If it's not too inappropriate at this stage of the game, we'd like to ask for a bulk donation to the Leukemia Society of America - Delaware Chapter (one of the ones we originally had listed) instead of splitting the donation as you had planned. Claire and I are going to walk in the Anchorage Alaska marathon in June in memory of Connor and a friend of his who also passed away from leukemia. The Leukemia Society coordinates a "Team in Training" for people to either run or walk in bunches of these marathons around the world, but as you might imagine, nothing is free. There are some fund raising requirements (to the tune of $4,000 for each of us), so we thought the '81 funds could all go to this worthy organization and help us in our endeavor at the same time.
It should be fun. Anyway, thanks again for your help. See ya around the halls at HQ...
